The Ashe Center Outreach team is the student health center’s public face on the UCLA campus.
The Ashe Center Outreach team is the student health center’s public face on the UCLA campus, attending student health events, presenting to student groups and at campus orientation sessions, and providing UCLA students with promotional supplies and program partnerships to support their individual missions regarding student health. Additionally, Ashe Outreach host the annual pop-up flu fair events and quarterly DeStress Study Fest public health programs at The Ashe Center entrance.
The Ashe Center Outreach team is led by a full-time Outreach & Programs Manager, and employs a number of student staff in various roles, including: Outreach Assistant, Graphic Designer, Media Assistant and two Patient Concierge. Learn about resources at UCLA that ensure the health and well-being of students.The Ashe Center — the patient-centered medical home for students that offers same-day, urgent and virtual visits — will discuss the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UCSHIP), review fees and plan benefits and explain the UCLA immunization requirements. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Resilience in Your Student Experience (RISE) Center will discuss resources to foster and support resilience, connection, mental health and well-being for our Bruin community.
Departmental/ Group Presentation & Orientation Requests
The Ashe Center Marketing & Outreach team is pleased to offer outreach presentations to your campus department or student group if our team has capacity.
These presentations typically cover orientation topics such as: How to Access Student Health Services at The Ashe Center, UCLA Immunization Requirements, UCSHIP and the UCSHIP Waiver Process, and more.
Please include in your request all relevant dates, department/group name, etc. We aim to respond to these requests in 1-3 business days.
