Fees & Eligibility

Most UCLA students keep UCSHIP. However, all registered students can use The Ashe Center. Waiver students are classified as Non-SHIP in our system, and can always access care at The Ashe Center, but the fees for their visit will differ from students who have UCSHIP.

​All currently registered UC students can access services at The Ashe Center. Students from other UC campuses must provide current proof of registration. In addition, students who have purchased the non-registered voluntary UC SHIP and UCLA students who were registered in the previous academic term are also eligible to access services at The Ashe Center.

  • For students with UCSHIP, all preventative immunizations are included in the cost of the plan. See the Fees below for fees associated with blood titer testing (evidence of immunity).

  • Students not enrolled in UCSHIP will be billed via Bruin Bill for the full charge of each vaccine. Itemized bills can be printed from The Ashe Center Patient Portal for students that wish to file a claim for reimbursement with their individual insurance carrier.
