Flu Shots

Free for UCSHIP students, $25 for Non-SHIP students

POP-UP FLU VACCINATION FAIRS: The Ashe Center hosts pop-up influenza vaccination (flu shot) fairs in Bruin Plaza during flu season. When those events are scheduled, we will list them here.

Flu shots are $0 for UCSHIP students and $25 for waiver students. Fees are billed directly to the Bruin Bill, and students must present a valid Bruin Card to participate. No appointment necessary.

During flu season, UCLA students have options for receiving their annual Influenza vaccine (flu shot):

• UCSHIP Students: Flu shots do not require a referral if administered at a local pharmacy.
• Students can attend a flu vaccination pop-up event (various pop-ups scheduled on campus throughout flu season, see Events Calendar for details on upcoming events)
• Students can ask their PCP for a flu shot during a routine visit
• Students can schedule a flu shot using the Patient Portal

Patients eligible to be seen are current students, past students of the most previous academic term, and other UC campus students.

Currently registered UCLA students who have waived UCSHIP

BruinCare

Currently registered UCLA students who have waived UCSHIP and bought BruinCare to get unlimited access to core services during the academic year

Fee for Service

Students from other UC campuses or UCLA students who are not currently registered, such as during summer session or who were registered in a recent term
