Dear UCLA Students,

Recent events have raised some concerns regarding the health and wellbeing services on campus. We remain committed to ensuring that every student has access to the support services they need.

All registered students have access to our health and wellbeing services, irrespective of their insurance status. In response to the current circumstances, we are waiving many internal charges to alleviate any additional stress during this time.

Our staff is available to share more information if the need arises for you. Our primary goal is to provide a confidential location to support your health and well-being, allowing you to focus on your studies without undue concern over healthcare accessibility.

The Ashe Center, Bruin Health Pharmacy, U See LA Optometry, CAPS, RISE, Case Management and CARE offices are available to assist you with any medical needs, mental health support, or advice. For more detailed information or to schedule an appointment, please visit our websites or contact our offices directly.

We are here to support you every step of the way.

Stay safe and take care,

Counseling Drop-In Sessions (CAPS)

In response to recent campus events, UCLA Counseling & Psychological Services is hosting additional Drop-In Sessions.

CAPS Drop-In Hours provide free, confidential, brief consultations for UCLA undergraduate and graduate students. These consultations do not constitute mental health treatment. During the visit, a specialized counselor can help you to explore resources, assess your mental health, and when needed, connect you to ongoing CAPS counseling, and other services.

If you are ready to start treatment or are interested in a mental health evaluation, call CAPS at 310-825-0768 for a same day triage assessment.

Please specify that you are interested in Drop-In Sessions when calling CAPS for more information:

  • For in-person availability, simply walk into CAPS (John Wooden Center West).
  • For virtual sessions, call CAPS at 310-825-0768 to receive a unique Zoom link.

Please note that regular CAPS drop-in times are also available via the web.
